Skiing in Mayrhofen: 142 km of pure skiing fun
In the Mayrhofen ski area are 142 km of ski slopes that are spread out over both local mountains in Mayrhofen as well as the connected Finkenberg, Rastkogel, and Eggalm ski areas.
From Hotel Waldheim, short connecting routes will take you to the lifts: it is only 5 min. to the Ahorn lift and 3 min. to the Penken lift.

Adventure on the Penken - the "Action Mountain"
The Penken was named the "Action Mountain" for a good reason. Are you ready to tackle the infamous Harakiri slope with an incline of 78%, Austria's steepest ski run? Would you like to race against the clock on three racing routes with speed measurement?
The Action Mountain offers many challenges and countless ski runs of every difficulty level. Snowboarders love the Penken Park and its 8 areas with a variety of jumps and obstacles. The Penkenjoch always guarantees unforgettable experiences!
Laid-back skiing on the Ahorn - the "Leisure Mountain"
It has been said that opposites attract. In Mayrhofen, you can observe this phenomenon. Right across from the Penkenjoch is the Ahorn "Leisure Mountain". Awaiting you here are wide carving slopes that are perfectly suited for beginners, inexperienced skiers, and families.
At an elevation of 2,000 m, you will also find the White Lounge, where you can unwind and relax. The undisputed highlight of the ski area on the Ahorn is the 5.5 km long valley run to Mayrhofen.
